Now, I dont know if it is like this at every Giant, but there are a few things I have heard from other stores. Most people that get n interview will find that it is short, as they are willing to hire just about anyone. They make promises of it being a great place to work, and that with all the hard work you put in, you will see career advancement. This however seems to be the farthest thing from the truth. The harder you work, the more likely you are to be stuck in that same position. Don't fall for the promise of having an employer that will understand and help you achieve, because thats just their hook and line.

It was actually the lack of questions that bothered me. As long as you can move fast enough and follow orders, they want you.
Very easy, basically just checking if you're a decent enough person who can show up on time. It only lasted like 10 minutes and I was in and out. They hire high schoolers often

Entretien
Very friendly and casual. We discussed availability, which department(s) I wanted to work in, and my past experience baking. I was asked a few what-if questions, but it was all common sense. I was offered the job at the end.

Entretien
It was pretty brief, and as far as job title. They pick for you. I went in to apply as a cashier as I had neck surgery which I made known to hiring manager. And I was told I would be in bakery which involved lifting that I was not able to do.
