There was an in-person interview, and then a phone call to let me know that I had the job. It all happened very quickly. There was about a week between my interview and getting the job offer. When they gave me the offer, I had the opportunity to start day of, which I did.

There was a phone interview then a mock lesson at the site. There was emphasis on how to respond to kids being really disruptive, how to manage that. Its good to have a good answer for the really hard situations that might come up. The mock lesson was a good chance to use any skills you have for classroom management and to build rapport with the kids.
