The interview went well. Started with OOPs concepts then dived into other concepts. I feel an interview should be this way only- start from basics then jump to other topics as the candidate gets sufficient time to get comfortable and is able to answer all questions. If I was not able to answer any question, the interviewer helped me by giving some knowledge about the topic- this is something very important. This not only brings relief to the candidate but also creates a positive environment- if someone does not know about a topic, instead of making them feel unaware or demeaning them by giving looks, it is always better to educate and share your knowledge. It was L1 round and L2 and HR round are yet to happen.
