At first, this process went very well - I had a preliminary interview with two managers I would be potentially working with, and they referred me to a second interview with the VP and CEO. This interview was also scheduled quickly and went very well - I had no reason to believe I would not be offered a position. After this I sent multiple follow-up emails that took at least a week to garner a response, then they asked for my salary requirements and I waited another week before sending another follow-up email. After sending multiple follow-ups and waiting weeks, I finally received an email saying they went with another candidate.
