1. Introductory call with the recruiter - Basic introduction and discussion about the past experience and the interview process. 2. Test assignment - Basic OOPS related task. 3. Tech interview - Technical discussion of projects from my resume. It was ok until this point. Then they shared the most horribly written React code I had ever seen. And I had to point out the issues with that code. I was not allowed to make any changes to the code. It was difficult to solve the next issues because the code is still unchanged and you don't know whether you have to consider the previous issue resolved or not as the solution for the current one would be different. They were trying to force OOPS concepts in React so bad that even they could not describe what they had done to the code. The recruiter was really supportive throughout the process.

1. HR Call - General discussion about role, experiences and skills 2. Coding Challenge - TypeScript and OO based. 0% related to the front-end development and the actual work. Hardly a chance that a frontend developer will be able to solve that. 3. Technical Interview - Technical Questions and React App Review. There were 2 interviewers and initially they asked 2-3 technical questions and later on shared a code to review. They just said to review it and nothing else. Later on the feedback I got was that I didn't know OOP concepts well. Where the heck was OOP in that code? You were using class components and apart from inheritance which is obvious, which OOP concept was being used there? Secondly, if you want to hear something, ask the candidate directly. Was that a riddle for the candidate to solve? Pathetic experience. Seriously need to work on their interview process and the interviewers. Make it easy for the candidates. Help him/her out. Don't just sit back like idols and expect the candidate to read your minds and answer.
