It was a standard process. I interviewed with the recruiter and then had 2 more rounds after. They sang my praises about me being their number 1 pick and sent over the offer. I asked if there was room to negotiate, the recruiter verbally offered the top end of the range posted in the JD and I accepted and waited to receive the updated offer. A day went by, no response, I emailed to follow up and was then told they rescinded the offer. It was an incredibly unprofessional experience overall and tainted my view of the company and the hiring managers. Be very careful with this place. Apparently a standard and expected step such as asking to negotiate is enough to illicit an immature and unprofessional response. I’d hate to imagine how they treat compensation once you’re a hired employee.
