In October, I embarked on the interview journey for a position at tech2globe. The initial stages, a written test and two VP rounds, were thorough and encouraging, spanning approximately 5-6 hours. However, the post-Diwali communication with the HR team was a stark contrast to the initial professionalism. Despite confirming my availability well in advance, complete radio silence followed Diwali, forcing me to proactively reach out to the VP for any updates. Even then, scheduling the final round became a frustrating ballet of last-minute changes and conflicting information. Traveling three hours early for a meeting the Director wasn't even available for felt like a blatant disregard for my time and effort. My attempts to address these concerns with HR were met with defensiveness and dismissive platitudes, rather than genuine apologies or attempts at rectification. This experience significantly impacted my job search timeline and caused unnecessary stress. While unforeseen circumstances can arise, the lack of transparency, respect for candidate time, and basic follow-through were deeply disappointing. For any job seeker considering tech2globe: thorough research and preparation for potentially unpredictable and unprofessional interactions are crucial. Remember, your time and energy are valuable – invest them wisely.
