I'm Sriram V completed B.E., Mechanical Engineering in 2019. I got invited to attend the Off campus Fresher Drive at Tech Mahindra, Bangalore for the post of Associate Design Engineer. It took one day to complete the interview process. Totally there were Five Rounds. First Round - Aptitude Test It was mid-level aptitude test comprises of 100 questions to complete in 1 hour. Once I submit the test, the result established in seconds on the monitor. I got selected and moved to the 2nd Round. 2nd Round - Essay Typing We will be given a picture and we have to type a story related to the picture of minimum 250 words in 15 mins. After completing the test, a committee verifies the story for grammatical errors, sentence formation and backspace used. After these verification, I got the positive result and moved to next round. Round 3 - Technical MCQ's A set of 50 technical questions (Purely Mechanical Basics) will be given in MCQ format. After completing the test, the result arrives in the monitor and I moved to Face to Face round. Round 4 - Face to Face Technical The Technical round was tough with basics of all subjects, practical questions and the projects I have done. The Interviewer was so good and humble which reduces the fear. Mostly the questions were from Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, GD/T, DTS, DME and the tools involved in Design and Analysis Software. It took 50 mins to complete the interview. The Result came in 10 mins and I moved to HR round. Round 5 - HR Round This is a formal round with formal HR questions. It was the easiest round but also an elimination round. Finally I got the selected list in 3 weeks and offer letter in another 3 weeks.
