Tech Mahindra first round had 7 sections in it with sectional cutoff. verbal had 2 sections, non verbal had 2 sections quants 1 section, paragraphs 1 section, figure-number-letter series in a section.We had 75 questions and 50 minutes time.
In 2 verbal sections we had questions on synonyms,antonyms, sentence completion , parajumbles, idioms , prepositions etc .,
In non-verbal we had blood relations,anologies , etc.,
In Quants we had ratio proportions,profit and loss, ages , compound interest & simple interest, and problems on averages , numbers . I got 11 questions from quantitative aptitude. it seemed to be a bit hard compared to remaining sections .
Paragraph section was easy. I got only 1 paragraph with 3 questions
Figure series were also time taking problems. I got around 7 questions from this section.
Immediately after completing 1st round ,people who cleared it were supposed to continue with the 2nd round. I got a picture displayed on monitor and I wrote a story on that picture for about 200 words . We can to write any story but it should relate with the picture. They evaluate the story based on sentence formation and spellings.
After 30 minutes they announced the 2nd round selected list and within 30 minutes they said us to be ready.
Interviewer asked me basic questions on c,java, and our project description . After that round he asked me wait for HR round. In HR Round he asked me about my role model and said to talk about INDIA for 2 minutes . He asked me few general questions and said to submit documents , ID proof and a photograph.
