Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Target en avr. 2011

      Entretien

I applied online at Target.com about a week later I received an email from their college recruiter ( I graduated in July 2010 however). In the mail it had a list of times to pick when I could be reached to do a phone interview. To prepare for the interview I researched on Target.com and looked at the questions on here. THEY ARE A BIG HELP!! I wrote about 5 questions that I had for my interviewer and I was ready. The interview itself was very casual and I felt very relaxed. Most of the time was spent discussing the store structure and the position of the ETL. She asked me about 3 tell me about a time when questions and then I aksed her my questions. At the end of the interview she said she thought I would be a good fit and would recommend a second interview. My second interview was at a local store with the STL (store manager) and the ETL. Once again relaxed interview, They were very personable and this made me feel very comfortable. Once again a lot of tell me about a time questions...maybe about 6 of them. Then I asked my questions maybe about 5. At the end because I havent had much leader experience I was offered the position of Senior Team Lead which was fine with me. He thought I would be perfect, but I had to interview with another store. Third interview was at another store just a short drive away. This interview was a little more straight forward but pretty much the same. Tell me about a time when.... Once again I was told i did good and he would be in touch. He did state that it might that day I heard a response or within the coming weeks. I've read stories on here that the interview process can be long so this was expected to me. Two days later I landed a fourth interview with the DM ( i believe) this interview was pretty short. He stated that he trusts his co workers judgment about hiring me and he really didnt feel the need to ask me much just why I wanted the job. I told him i was looking to build leadership skills and felt that Targets company structure was the perfect place for me to grow and learn. I havent received a formal offer as of yet, but I'm sure the job is mine! My tip is to research the STAR method!!! Tell about a situation, how you handled it, and the outcome. I think what won me over is that I asked questions. This is very important it showed I really cared about the job and did my research on the company. Also be excited about the position let them know you want the job and why. Also my interview process has taken about 2 weeks much shorter than Ive read on here. They were very willing to work with my schedule as of now I do have another job.

It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
