J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Target en nov. 2015

      Entretien

I got recruited though email on indeed, started with a phone interview. Simple questions tell me about yourself? Job related experience to this position? Tell me about a situation that was difficult I'm your last position?. Once you passed that you go to the store for a interview with HR executive, she basically asks the same questions as she/he did on the phone. Immediately after you interview with the store manager. Depending on which position you apply for they have a criteria of questions they ask. You want to be able to tell them situations that relate to the position your apply for. Also if your going for management they are looking to see if you are a experienced manager. Tell me a time it was difficult working with a employee, and what did you do? For me they told me right there that I was moving on to the district manager interview.

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Target (Omaha, NE) en déc. 2018

      Entretien

I was first contacted by a recruiter who asked some general information regarding my resume, followed by some behavioral, situational questions. After we spoke for about 45 minutes, she advised me that she was moving me on to the next interview- a face to face interview with the District Team Leader and District HR partner. The face to face interview was brief and though I wasn’t strictly professionally dressed, I felt overdressed as the interviewers were in leggings and casual tops. The questions were exactly the same as asked by the recruiter. Altogether, it took about 30 minutes. I spent more time talking to the receptionist. It’s only been the weekend, so still waiting to hear something.

      Entretien

The interview process begins with a phone screening by a recruiter from their corporate office. After that, the process seems to diverge. In both of my attempts at working for this company, I was told that an interview with field managers would be the next step, and would happen quickly. In neither instance was that the case. In the first instance, nothing happened at all and a local internal candidate was promoted. In the second instance, I was given a working interview with a Store Team Leader about 30 miles from home and told that the District Leader was too busy to meet with me at that point, but to keep the process moving along, I was skipping that step. After that four hours process, I received a phone call telling me that they had found an internal candidate that was "willing" to relocate...but that the VERY next position that came up, I would be the first candidate considered. I told the recruiter that I appreciated the position this decision put her in, but that I was no longer "willing" to work for Target.
