Recruiter called out of the blue without prior notice around 4:45pm on a weekday. I think it was very unprofessional for her to call without informing me first, as I was unprepared. She didn't ask "if it was a good time for us to talk" and jumped to interview questions. In fact, I didn't even remember applying for this role( as I apply to a lot of companies daily) and didn't quite understand the name of the company and had to ask her to spell it twice. She told me the name of the role I applied for but, I didn't understand as she was speaking too fast. I sent her my resume while being on the phone with her and apologized for being unprepared. However, there was a strong disconnect from the beginning of the call with her and it felt like she was rushing to do her job. I have interviewed with a lot of companies before and everyone has always scheduled the phone call in advance and respected my time. The company has a high rating on Glassdoor however, due to this unprofessional experience, I will not be speaking to them again.
