I was a program manager in Health at TCC for three years, and my interview was very easy for me. I had a lot of experience in the job and (but?) the person who would end up being my direct manager had no knowledge or experience in this field. This was later a blessing and a curse. I had a lot of autonomy to run my team like I wanted, but I when I needed it, I had no support.
The hiring process was that I found out about the job opening after it had already closed. When I was finally able to reach someone, they reopened the position, I slayed the interview and was offered the position the next business day. For clarity, this is NOT typical of the process.
