J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez TPG Telecom (Sydney) en janv. 2021
Entretien
First stage, a phone call with a recruiter to answer some questions about my past experience. (Easy)
Second stage, a video conference with a manager and more senior developers. A graduate developer was also promised but did not show up. A few basic Java questions were asked. (Easy)
Third stage, onsite technical session with a developer. Solved three Easy problems on a provided laptop. (Easy)
Final stage, a chat with their IT director. Answered several non-technical questions on leadership, management and a quiz testing your non-technical decision making ability. The director kept adding conditions denying my answers making it tougher and tougher to answer. (Very Difficult)
Been ghosted since. Asked for an update twice, never received a reply. (Disappointing)
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Imagine if your product manager was a tyrant, what would you do when they gave you more work than you can manage before the deadline?
Very basic software development questions asked. From submitting application to going in for an interview took some time. The interview questions were quite straightforward. First a coding test then an interview with the manager and a senior manager aswell.

First round interview with several staff. Lots of questions about Java technical details.
Second round was a set of Java problems like you would find on hackerrank. Not particularly difficult but read problems carefully. I misunderstood the problem and took longer (having to redo it) and made silly mistakes because of rushing.

Question 1
Questions along the lines of what are the Java access modifiers and what's the difference between them?
