Referred by Search Consultancy. Interview comprised of a short presentation (3 mins) to the group of other applicants on why I had applied for the role and what experience, skills etc I could offer. Competency based paper exercise covering IT skills and providing examples of previous work experience, for example describing a process improvement I had delivered. Role play which was basically an exercise on taking down details from a voicemail message which was read out loud to the group. The experience was quite cold/impersonal and seemed to me to be a 'bums on seats' exercise. Was advised I had passed the interview (assessment centre) but was offered a lower hourly rate than first told. Then I was told that the campaign I had applied for was on hold. I was offered other campaigns paying less than the hourly rate advertised and which would involve more anti social hours. Declined the other offers and would personally avoid in the future due to poor first impressions of this company.

Good, efficient process. No time waster, just enough checks required for the job. They finished the entire process in a day and offered me the very day. I joined the training in a week. There was a typing speed test and basic computer skills test.
