J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. J'ai passé un entretien chez TOAST (UK) en févr. 2023
Entretien
I had 2 interviews for the position of management accountant, the first was with the Financial controller and HR and I was asked to do a second interview with the CFO both of which went very well from my side. First interview was cut short as the companies ‘free zoom trial’ time limit had ended. The 2nd interview with the CFO was also short and seemed more of a ‘this is what I need you to do’ rather than ‘what can you bring to the company’ with not many questions asked. My recruitment consultant had introduced me to the company at £36k with a study package to complete my ACCA exams. I was offered the job at £36k with no study package. I negotiated via the recruitment agency to ask for £38k due to no study package being included. This was declined and the offer for the job was withdrawn due to me negotiating the salary. In what industry do you not negotiate salary when offered a job? This was both unexpected and unprofessional and likely representative of the way in which this company treats its staff members and contradictory of the values they supposedly stand for in this ‘ethically motivated’ company. Every cloud has a silver lining.
