      The initial phone interview was much more in depth than I was expecting, but I was able to successfully get an in person interview. Pay was discussed at this time, and though the pay offered was extremely low and below market salary, I was still interested enough in the opportunity to accept the interview. I was told to study up on company culture as well as their values and history. I spent hours preparing for this interview and went into it really feeling well prepared. I was not asked even one question regarding any of that in the entire interview. There were two people interviewing me and one of them was staring at the ceiling, picking at his clothes and exhibiting other activities that made it obvious that he was extremely bored and/or disinterested. I connected with the other interviewer and had what I thought to be a successful interview. I have been to many job interviews, both good and bad, and it's fairly easy to tell whether the interview went poorly or not. That being said, apparently I misread the signals, because a couple days later I received a voice mail message stating that even though I was extremely qualified technically for the job, they weren't sure if my actual personality was good enough for them. I attempted to call back several times to discuss the results, but the person I had been working with would not return my call, and I was eventually contacted by another member of HR. I declined the second interview and would not apply for another job with them in the future. If you want to work for a company that is unorganized, offers below market pay and values personality over technical skills, then TEKsystems would be for you, if not, I would recommend you look elsewhere.

      This was an intense waste of time. I spoke to a recruiter on the phone and was brought in for a 3 on 1 interview with managers. If it went well, I’d meet with the Regional controller. During the interview, they strayed from typical questions and started asking me about why I was wearing the suit I was (wtf?) and who my role models were. They were respectful but seemed disinterested and so when they had me shadow 3 different people, and THEN meet with the regional controller, I was super confused. In the end, they said I didn’t “fit” what they were looking for. AKA you have to be this bubbly cookie cutter prototype.

      A number of their associates have reached out to me different times previously. I was interviewed for a project analyst position this time. The interview is always simple and fast mostly focusing on experiences. The experiences, however, are never pleasant. This company is very appalling. They are always so boastful about how they are the top IT recruiter and use it as their conversation starter. Once you feel comfortable that you are in good hands, you will find out that most of their associates would treat you like trash if they see you unfit for the position but if they do see you can make it they would chase you incessantly like a hungry hyena. The recruiters are highly unprofessional and most of them do not seem to know what they are doing. You have to dumb everything down for them as they are not highly technical. They would always revert back to their seniors or managers to confirm minor questions. The day of the meeting, the recruiter was 15 minutes late. I was also asked to take a Windows 7 (which is obsolete now) troubleshooting proficiency test which is totally irrelevant to the skill requirements. After all these hassles, I was told that we could not proceed further until I let my employer know that I was exploring opportunities which would absolutely produce an awkward work environment. I was even given the hopes that I had a great chance of getting an offer. A chance is not an offer! The last one before this was also tragic. I met with the recruiter and then told me to my face that he found out that the deadline was that same day and they had already put forward candidates for the position. To add more fuel to the fire, he told me that those candidates have more work experience. Stay away from these people. Total waste of time!

      Entretien

      Phone screen followed by 30 minute interview. Not much follow up from recruiter on status after that. Position was wanting certain skills that i knew i could quickly learn but recruiter did not seem to understand that.
