For me Managerial Round merged with Technical
Focus on:
Problem-solving in real scenarios (e.g., missed production issue, performance tuning, client escalations).
Team handling / leadership skills if you are senior.
Behavioral questions: handling pressure, deadlines, conflicts in a team.
Client interaction ability.
HR Round:
Usually the final step.
Covers:
Salary discussion (hike from current CTC, TCS bands).
Work location (TCS has strict location policies).
Work culture & shift flexibility (support projects may require night shifts).
Offer & Background Check
If you clear all rounds, TCS releases the offer letter.
Background verification (employment history, education, etc.) is mandatory before onboarding.
