Preliminary phone call, followed up by an in person interview of 5 people directed with specific initiatives to exploit an area of your resume and its applicability to the mobile industry

I went through approximately 8 interviews and was told I needed to speak to one more person, who would be my peer, and this took approximately 9 weeks. I was prepared for my final interview and was completely ghosted from the company. I received a general email from HR two months later that I wasn't being considered for the position.
