The interview process consists of three to four stages: an initial conversation with a recruiter, followed by a virtual Teams/Zoom interview, and then in-person interviews. While the structure was clear, there were several concerns with the execution. My primary point of contact was a recruiter from a different site who appeared to have little familiarity with the team I was actually interviewing with. Although the team members were polite and accommodating—particularly when I experienced technical issues—I was surprised to discover that the role had very little to do with finance, despite how it was advertised. This was acknowledged by the team during the interviews. After nearly a month of interviews, including a fourth round with an additional team member, I was ultimately ghosted. I was told I would receive a final decision within a week, but no one ever followed up. I reached out multiple times to request an update and was met with complete silence. This is not only disappointing, it is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company’s communication practices. While the individuals I met seemed well-meaning, the overall experience felt disorganized and had the hallmarks of a startup environment—unclear roles, inconsistent messaging, and a lack of follow-through.
