Entretien
Was referred to a job opening by an employee. Had a phone screen with an HR rep about a week after applying. Flew out for an onsite interview about two weeks later. Interview was pretty laid back with a technical/research presentation given by me followed by individual meetings with engineers at the company.
This was an R&D focused position, so the technical questions were mostly about my graduate work. There was off and on discussion of C++ and company software development practices. Very basic questions about C++ and C and hardware (cache, threads, etc.).

How would I use my finite element research and apply it to finite volume methods?
The recruitment process consisted of an offline test, followed by interview. The interview was basic dsa and an puzzle at the end. Questions regarding sorting and binary seach were asked

i couldn't clear the first round : Basic Coding, binary search, sorting, etc
Interviewer was bad not at all interactive and interested in taking the interview looking like had a fight at home before taking the interview. I don't like the interviewer but can't do much as it's randomly allocated and it's all about luck of you get good interviewer or not. But atleast interviewer should be responsive.
There were two interviews for me. First one is from the technical team. The Second interview is from the HR. Mosty they ask Object Oriented programming related technical questions and DSA related questions

They ask abou time complexity of different example algorithms.
