J'ai postulé via une autre source. J'ai passé un entretien chez Synex Medical (New York, NY) en août 2021
Entretien
6 or 7 video interviews, with everyone from CEO to engineering. Interviews were pretty straightforward. Technical interviews went over past projects, knowledge of development process. A number of "company culture" interviews, i.e. how well will you fit into the company.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Synex Medical (Toronto, ON) en oct. 2025
Entretien
Interview was short compared to similar positions, got to the point and asked great questions.
First round was standard screening, Lots of information was provided to be able to prepare the most relevant answers for what they're looking for.
Second round was a take-home. Questions were designed to make candidates think and actually consider potential scenarios that may reflect real-world issues. Feedback on answers was provided, and was very well done.
Third round was half panel half system design. System design was open ended to be able to see how candidates considered problems in a more realistic scenario. Process was discussion-based to gauge how the candidate would be able to work with the team and how they consider problems. Panel interview was various facets of the team asking questions to gauge whether the candidate is good to work with and has relevant experience.
Overall the process was incredibly respectful and designed to really get an idea of what the candidate would be like to work with, and not just how they perform under stressful conditions.

Behavioral HR interview
Hiring manager technical interview
Loved the woven assessment, got great feedback from the reviewers. It combats bias by being reviewed by a 3rd party, and was baseline against the performance of existing engineers against the same assessment. 10/10 best experience I've had with an Async technical interview.
Before each interview I got a summary of what would be discussed for preparation, which I liked. It ensures everyone has a chance to put their best foot forward.

Question 1
I was asked to identify potential causes of a performance issue, write an email to a junior staff member to ask them to debug, asked to review a PR, and to write some code for the woven technical assessment.
