Initial contact on IRC by lead looking for help. I submitted related public and personal code I had written via email. Eventually contacted by HR (3 weeks later?) to arrange for same-day phone interview. Interviewed with lead and one other at the same time, which involved more of them describing the position and joking about than them asking me questions. They seemed like great people to work for and with (and after several months, I still think they are, such that I accepted a permanent position requiring a move). Was contacted by HR either the same or next day to offer position and arrange for travel for one week of in-person training the following week.
