      Entretien

      Interview process was that of a blind cattle call. They're looking for warm bodies to pay them for leads. I did a lot of homework after my initial job offer and what I found out is that Symmetry Financial has over 85,000 complaints on just one single forum from both former employees as well as clients and turned-off potential customers. When taking the BBB complaints and other consumer forums into account, they're pushing over 100,000 complaints all with very similar stories of deceit, being lied to, embellished salary promises, junk lead quality, repeat and reworked leads that cost agents lots of money, as well as bounced commissions. Gus, their agency head, reached out (after I declined a position for the third time with this company) and explained to me that their "part time agents are making between 40-60k per year." However, this is in direct conflict with all the salaries reported for agents and the massive amount of complaints about their unpaid commissions. They charge you $10-40 PER LEAD you get from their system -- according to my recruiter that I interviewed with. According to employee reviews these leads are often public record and regurgitated (already worked by another agent). So they're making money hand over fist selling the same leads over and over again to multiple agents. Having interviewed with several other supplemental insurance companies, Symmetry offers the lowest commission base with the highest per lead cost out of the top companies in the country. The biggest turn off, and the catalyst for leaving this review, was the fact that I explained why I declined taking the position, months ago, to Gus Villagran, their Agency Director. His response was to inform me that "anyone can write anything" and that "most people involved in the industry" blahblah Basically telling me that the complaints weren't valid, that part time can earn me $60k, and that I would have support and training. Yet 100,000 other people say otherwise. In closing, Gus had the audacity to ask me to please send anyone looking for work their way!!! I was flabbergasted that this asinine comment came over my screen. His response to all of my concerns was to disregard, deflect and then ask for recommendations!!!!!!!!! Bottom Feeder. Run. Run far. Run fast. When it comes to MLM scams, these people are bottom feeders. You should never have to pay someone to work. That's your first indicator they're a scam and why they have over 1800 job openings listed across multiple platforms looking for agents. Just do the math on that. 1800 employees buying 100 leads per day at $10 each = $1.8 million in revenue for them per day. Now imagine that 50% of those leads were resold to unsuspecting new agents. They just made another 900k on leads that were already worked and paid for making their earnings off their employees a cool 2.7million for the day!!! Now insert $40 leads and take a look at the money they're making. Again, off the backs of their employees. To each their own and all, and I don't know about anyone else, but that's predatory in my opinion. OH and on a last note, you have to sign a noncompete so working for them will prevent you from working in an insurance sales position for 6 months to a year after you quit.

      Very pleasant and answered all my questions. I found them to be very uplifting and educated in all areas. I didn’t feel like they were pushy or overwhelming. They were very excited to talk about their company and all of the great things they offered
