Phone interview with the CTO was nice, but the on-site interview was difficult because the position being applied for wasn't clarified, mostly because they wanted to keep their technology hush-hush. It was only mentioned last minute that I would be applying for the R&D team under the CTO and that they required a more advanced degree despite bringing me on-site. What struck me most was that the place and the people didn't seem very welcoming or cheerful.
