      Entretien

First, you get a phone call from a company rep. I don't think they use recruiters yet. She asks a few basic questions initially over the phone: What made you apply for our company? Where did you hear about us? Why do you think you'd be a good fit? It's only a few minutes, and then she'll invite you to attend the first interview. Next they hold a group interview with about 10 candidates. They take the candidates a tour of the facility, talk about the founding and function of the company, their focus on culture and teamwork, and play a few teamwork games which are observed by the interviewer, who indicates that the interview is being recorded! She says it sarcastically, but there was a camera hidden on the wall in the room. She pretty much tells you that she's looking for teamwork and a positive disposition. After only a day, I got a call back from the interviewer who told me she had a window between 8 am-11:30 am the following week and told me I could pick whichever 30 min time slot I wanted. When I came to the interview, the interview with the person in the slot before me was going over, so we started about 20 mins later than the agreed upon time. This interview was with the floor manager for the shift that needed positions, the Wednesday - Saturday crew. He was friendly and seemed happy with his job. He talked about how much he liked his crew, and paused the interview once so that he could resolve an issue for one of his Leads. He encouraged questions, and made me feel like he'd be happy to have me on his team. I received an email of a job offer two days later. They don't call, and the email comes from the Employee relations manager, who I did not meet. She just wants a response to confirm your acceptance of the position, and gives you a quick checklist of things you need for your first day, and a late-start time to ease you into early hours.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

      1. What kind of superhero would you want to be and why? 2. Can you name a few high value clothing retail brands? Medium? Low? 3. What do you think constitutes a good work ethic? 4. Almost everyone is friendly here, but if an issue came up with another associate, and you couldn't resolve it, what would you do? 5. What would you contribute to this company and why?
