So the interview itself was amazing. The people interviewing asked relevant questions pertaining to the job. They were very interactive. The bad review is for the recruiter. Like any job, I submitted my resume that had every experience that pertained to nursing. A few days after my interview, I get a call that I am offered a position. I of course accept. A week later I receive an email that I rejected the offer? Hmm that’s weird. So I call the recruiter and asked what happened. She tells me there is a sutter rule that internal transfers cannot occur within 6 months of being hired at another sutter facility. I was working at another sutter facility and officially quit already since I received an offer. I told the recruiter that it was in my resume. I was not aware of this rule, and was confused why they didn’t automatically reject my application due to this rule. So be careful if you are doing a transfer from another sutter facility. Make sure you work six months first. Also be aware that the recruiter doesn’t clearly look at your resume. Obviously the recruiter didn’t look at mine. Luckily my wife makes enough money for me to be out of a job temporarily since I quit my job because I received that offer.
