Stage 1 - technical and design tests including Photoshop and HTML/CSS tasks, eye for detail test and also a photo retouching test. This was followed by a face-to-face interview including a representative from the recruitment team to ask competency-based questions.
Stage 2 - face-to-face interview with senior management.

Entretien
First interview: "get-to-know-you", went over the CV, interests, the usual. Easy going interviewers -- Easy
Design test: I was asked to carry out a design test, there was ample time to work on it and pretty clear instructions. My main struggle with it was the lack of particular branding specs, the examples provided are a bit all over the place... but I must have done something right as I obtained a second interview and was told they "loved" my submission -- Average
Second interview: we went over my test briefly, in particular what I struggled with. Then there were some more specific questions regarding inspiration, process/pipeline... and 2-3 questions that were really about marketing strategy rather than design; I didn't do great on these and from the feedback I was given at the end I feel these were evaluated a bit more heavily than I would have expected, these to me fall more in the "nice to have" category... I guess the other candidates were much stronger than me on this -- Average
