lengthy, but they want to be sure they are hiring the right people for their communities, which is understandable. they want the best taking care of their resident..i met with ED of community I was being considered for, another ED, a RCD, and some regional personnel. I was pleased to have been able to go to a few different communities, they are all beautiful and well kept. everyone I met was pleasant and seemed to truly enjoy what they are doing

Too long. They require too many interviews. The hiring process took so long but it did not help with the longevity of my career. After 6 months, i was working constantly on the floor instead of working as the director of nursing. Poor support from upper management even after I kept complaining to my ED.

I applied online in January 2018 and the whole process from application to hire date was 4 weeks. I had one phone interview with a talent manager, three in person interviews with a senior resident care director, senior executive director and regional resident care director. I had my final phone interview with the vice president of Resident care.

HR found my resume (i did not apply). Phone interviews, Interview with ED at the hiring location, then separate interview another day in a different location, with Regional ops mgrs etc (kept me waiting awhile). One left during the interview, then they booked me for a "work preview" in yet a different location. Lengthy process. Positive with promise to hang tight and wait....and then rejection canned email.

Lots of expectations provided which is good and yet the usual questions
