I found the managers and dev lead to be professional, pleasant, and highly engaging, leaving a positive impression. The company maintains an exciting startup mentality.
However my interactions with HR felt superficial and scripted, lacking genuine, challenging, or decisive engagement. Furthermore, the process was missing the necessary enthusiasm and clear employer branding required to truly excite candidates about the company's mission and future.
For a company approaching an IPO, I felt they should adopt more regulated, professional, and serious talent acquisition procedures to match the desired organizational scale and attract top talent.
