J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Subway (San Bruno, CA) en sept. 2011
Entretien
I applied online, and got a call about a week later asking me to come in for an interview at the headquarters in South San Francisco. This was my first job, so I didn't really know what to expect.
I wore something pretty casual: black pants, white button-up and a gray cardigan with black flats.
It was pretty standard and laid back. She asked me about my weaknesses and what I'd do in certain situations. It was mostly getting to know me. She also asked if I was comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment. She was basically asking me yes or no questions towards the end of the interview.
By the time it was over, she told me to sign up online for the Subway University online training. I was hired on the spot. It was fairly chill and laid back.
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
