The recruiter was very polite, walked me through the interview process, and was quick to answer any questions I had. The process started with a recruiter screening (30 minute phone call), a 30 minute video interview with a team member, the writing assignment, then an onsite (video interview with 4-5 cross functional team members. In the directions, they say that the writing assignment should only take 2 - 3 hours. This isn't correct. There are 3 main questions with about 5-6 in-depth questions under each topic. Didn't make it past the writing sample round, but I do think that it's a great way for Stripe to collect a plethora of free consultation/solutions to their real life business problems, with no intentions of making an offer. It gives the perception of recruiting under a false pretense.

Spoke with a recruiter and a hiring manager...recruiter was very helpful in describing the job, hiring manager seemed stressed and distracted. Lots of impact/situational questions with an emphasis on setting metrics
