The interview process was straightforward, with constant communication throughout. I never felt like I was being left in the lurch. The most novel part of the process was the "take home" coding exercise that you can complete on your own time and then review in a later interview session with one of their engineers; it really takes a lot of the pressure off and you feel like you can turn in some quality work. For me the process took about 3 weeks from initial contact to offer letter (I spent 1 week on the exercise), mostly because of how we had to space out the interviews to accommodate each other's calendars.

The interview process was excellent, fast and to the point. After each step, there wasn't too much time until the next one, and I would always hear from someone quite fast. The people I met during the interview process provided for a very good hiring experience

Starting from a reference I got a phone screening, where we talked about my situation and my interests as well as got a rough overview of what is STORD about. Following that, I had a short interview with the VP of Engineering where a got more context and talked a bit about my past, STORD then send me an assignment and shortly after finishing it we had the main interview. It was three parts. Part one was a peer technical interview, where we went through the assignment and geeked out, I then had a cultural interview with HR person, and finally another interview with the VP of Eng where we went through some technical things, but mostly my attitude towards problems/difficulties that I faced in the past.

Question 1
There have been many questions, most notably during my interviews with VP of Eng, I was asked to describe past situations where I faced difficulties either because of a dysfunctional team or because of the problems themselves, and also describe what actions I took and how I think they helped improve the situation. Also in similar fashion about achievements I've done in the past.
