Emailed back and forth with the manager and met with graduate student for a preliminary interview then met with manager for final interview where the job was described. Was allowed to start the same week as the interview

Apply through handshake, get email notification from employer, schedule an interview time, interview lasted about 15-30 min, and provide documentation. After this whole process, they provide me two weeks of training session before starting.
