THINK TWICE BEFORE ACCEPTING AN ONSITE INTERVIEW IF YOU ARE OUT OF STATE!! This interview process was a complete disaster and I would avoid this company. I was instantly judged by the guy taking me on the tour for what I was wearing (dress pants, dress shoes, dress shirt). It was weird and set the interview off to a bad start. For example, prior to my onsite interview the recruiter was extremely available and constantly in contact with me. After my onsite interview, the recruiter ghosted me. It's been a few months and I still have received no feedback or even a "no" from this company. They basically throw people away in the trash because they respect no one, or the recruiter didn't have the guts to tell me no. Honestly, I tried to keep in contact with them long enough to see if they would ever tell me no, it basically became a game to my circle of friends and family...even a month or so after I had already accepted a position with another company. Finally I just gave up because I have better things to do...they still have never told me that I didn't get the job, they just hope that they can disappear and you'll get the message. Classless. Another example of why this company is trash: They refused to pay for anything except my Lyft rides (which they give you a code for). I flew out on a Sunday (they refused to pay for ANY meals that day or the baggage charge since they make you fly Delta). They paid for one meal (the one I ate with the team) on Monday. For a company that brags about being a $1 Billion dollar company, they were extremely cheap. Later that week I had another interview with a different company that barely clears 10M a year in revenue...that company not only paid for all my meals (like EVERY OTHER COMPANY I'VE EVER INTERVIEWED WITH), but they found a $3 charge for some bottle of water or something I got at the hotel and reimbursed me for it without me actually asking for them to reimburse me. That is what a good company will do. StockX will not do such a thing. They expect you to fly in on a Sunday morning and either not eat all day or pay for it yourself. Completely ridiculous company. All in all, I was out about $150 for cost of food and baggage claims. This $1 B company won't give you $150 bucks to come interview with them to cover your costs....again, like every other company I've ever interviewed with has. Completely classless. Also, they will take you on a tour of downtown Detroit, including a tour of the security company that they promise will protect you while you work for them. Also most of that tour was mostly to praise Dan Gilbert, which was a little weird. Also, they have a ton of prod issues, so you probably won't get a lot of sleep working for this company. Have fun :) On the plus side, the Director I would have been reporting to was a good guy.
