I recently applied for the position of Android UI Developer. The interview consisted of 4 rounds.
1. People Ops team - I learned about the interview process and shared my experience and motivations, etc.
2. Team Lead + UX Research - This interview consisted team lead and a senior engineer. They wanted to get a better view of my skill sets. And check if skills aligned with the task at hand.
3. Technical Task - It was a paid task, where I got to work on an original app hosted on Github. It was a realistic task, and I was connected with the team with the help of Discord Handles.
4. Peer Panel Interview - This interview was to check if I was a cultural fit.
The complete interview process was super smooth.
I enjoyed talking to several members of the Status family. Everyone was super polite and very helpful.
