Beginning on campus, I interviewed with a manager. He asked me about State Street and what I knew about the company first, then followed up by asking about my resume. After that, it was all situational questions. Follow the STAR (Situation, Task, Analysis, and Result) format. A week or so later, I was e-mailed about a second round, in-house interview. The format of the interview was two one-hour periods. The first hour I spent with a VP. He asked me a list of situational questions, along with some technical questions regarding financial securities. The second hour I spent with two managers, who tended to focus on more technical questions (finance/accounting terms) and workplace habits. Throughout the whole process, each person carried a standard list of questions and wrote notes vigorously.

The interview process was fairly smooth. not many technical questions, mostly behavioral. overall the interview process wasn't too bad and difficult as i expected it was going to be. There was no technical hard questions only behavioral questions.
