I was contacted for an initial hr interview fairly quickly (about a week) after submitting my application, but have been ghosted after following up for available time slots for a second interview with the hiring manager. Two weeks is more than enough to tell the applicant if they are no longer part of the hiring process or not after an interview. Even if your interview went well and was suggested a second interview, you can always be ghosted unexpectedly from this company.

telephone interview with Quality assurance management not interested in senior citizen, to experienced, short term employment not desirable, kept asking me "when will I retire ?" Kept saying long working hours and long commute. How soon will you retire.
