The team culture as per what was described came across as strong and seems like the company gives a lot of importance to culture fit and practical knowledge. They wanted someone who would be good at leveraging the latest AI tools in product mgmnt and a big part of the conversation was around the growth side of things. The interviewer, who was the product lead seemed knowledgeable and chill, and had a clear and straight forward vision of where the company was headed. On the flip side, the interview process felt a bit lengthy based on what was mentioned. I was told that there would be an assignment too, which adds more steps and time to the whole thing. One other downside was that they weren’t ready to even give a ballpark range for expected comp, which left me doing quite the guesswork and made it harder to evaluate comp fit early on. So while the role and team seem promising and positive, just be prepared for a longer interview.
