The Academy is designed to develop advisers who can enter the industry as self sufficient professionals, most commonly through self employment, either by starting their own business or joining an existing SJP Practice as an adviser. While some Practices do offer employed adviser roles, these are currently less common, and we aim to be transparent about this from the outset.
