Manager arranged Zoom interview from her home in Europe...my availability was requested as early as 7:30am Pacific time--latest time slot I could reserve was 9:30.
Was given lengthy three-part assessment test: copy editing, A/B email versions, sample course description; some outside research needed...took the better part of a weekend.
A few weeks later, I was told there was a pending offer to another candidate; I would be considered if their offer was not accepted....Received 3 additional updates saying they were still deciding what to do, finally told (after several more weeks) "the team decided to move forward with other candidates in the process".
Overall, a waste of time and effort....these guys came off as egghead academics who can't conduct a professional hiring process. You have been warned.

The Springboard interview process started off smoothly. They were quick to respond, organized, and transparent.
After three rounds of interviews and a thorough skills assessment, they were entirely silent for a week with no updates about the role.
They only provided an update when I requested it, at which point they informed me there was a pending offer with another person and that if that individual did not accept, they would extend an offer to me.
After an otherwise smooth interview experience, the lack of communication near the end was incredibly frustrating.

The interviewer was polite, but the skills assessment was inflated and I regret going through with it only to get a rejection letter. They clearly are an edutech company but use their own product to screen employees which is an error.

Was asked to edit a 15-page document. Big waste of time.
