I got contacted quickly by WhatsApp and got my first HR call which was pleasnt experience, all my questions are covered and we proceeded the next stage to the tech round. Initially he interviewers were surprised when I startted speaking English as they had expected me to speak Russian which I could not. The questions were purely .net related ones and we had a good engineer to engineer cummunication, covered all the stack and did some TDD together, After that I got contacted again and HR congratulated me for being selected. I was happy and at the moment HR asked me If I speak Russian or not. My answer was negative. I got a call from a PM of the team I was going to join and he said they are OK with my English. Days later the position "got suddenly cancelled". Shame, I highly doubt it though. Personally I think they either were not truly Ok with my English or the PM messed something up in the descision maknig process.
