Initial online interview discussing my qualifications and how they would fit within the team. Lasted 1 hour, very pleasant discussion with the hiring manager and another member of the team. I was told at the end of the interview I'd know (either way) by the end of the following week whether I had been chosen to progress to the next interview. Unfortunately, 3.5 months went by and I had no updates. I followed up multiple times and I received responses indicating that I was still under consideration. Finally, the response to my last attempt to get an update let me know the position had been filled by someone else. So disappointing that they couldn't even be bothered to email to let me know. Without the follow up I definitely would have just been ghosted by them.
