Went smooth. Talked to a former air force pilot. They are very clear ln their expectations. Person making the interview asked a lot of difficult questions about my experience as a pilot. Seems like a great company to work for. I decided to take my talents elsewhere.

I've applied for years to fly for Spirit. After a couple internal recommendations I received an email to fill out a new application. After that there was an online personality test and skills test. After attending 1 job fair I received a call about 2 months after the job fair. It was a pleasant get to know you and a few basic questions like why Spirit, which base, why do you want to leave your current job? That went well so I was invited to interview. The interview day consists of: Company presentation, basic introductions, ATP written test, 2 or 3 person panel interview and lunch. 8/10 candidates received an offer by telephone within a couple days. Those that were not selected received a TBNT email. The panel interview was a lot of HR questions (see below). There are 2 girls in the back that facilitate the day and I believe they and everyone you meet has an impact on whether you get hired or not. Be yourself, be friendly, they want to get to know you! Basically they want to know if you fit in to the Spirit culture/business model and if they can sit in a flight deck with you for 4 days. Great company to be at right now as we are growing like crazy. The airbus is the best office to work in.
