It was a screening call. The interviewer joined late and wasted no time before proceeding to call me by the wrong name. During the whole interviewer the interviewer seemed hostile and annoyed, as if I was wasting their time and not responding to a job listing that they themselves had created. In addition they had the thickest sounding accent I had ever heard and had hard time making out anything they were saying. It's truly baffling that they hired this person for a role that primarily revolves around communication.
