Sales is your number one job. You have to interact with every single Customer and offer Services. You are constantly being monitored by your Supervisor and graded after each transaction. Your cash drawer has to match up to the penny after every single day. You are monitored by your transactions in the computer/billing system. You have to use the correct discount codes or the system flags you. Office is open 6 days a week. Once or sometimes twice a month you work one half day during the week and work that Saturday by yourself. Everything you do is critiqued from your greeting to each customer, to selling all products or services with each Customer you have contact with, to balancing your drawer every day, accuracy inputting customer information, equipment, discount codes and notes on every Customer account you open, keeping up to date on competition prices, services and equipment, taking test and quizzes monthly, staying professional when you have an irrate Customer.

I applied online and within a couple of days received an email to take the skills assessment. Once that was passed, I was sent an email for a phone screen and given some questions to answer such as 'Why do you want to work for Charter' or 'Describe a time....blah blah.' Once the phone screen was passed, I was scheduled a face to face interview with the store manager. He asked basically the same questions and had HIS boss on speakerphone with us. He went over some of the things I may run into day to day if hired and at the end, stated it would be about a week or so to hear back and if extended an offer, i'd be given base pay at that time, sent for drug screen, ETC.
