Meet and greet with manager, meet some of the team members, tour of the place, typical standards of setting an interviewer to be comfortable. the conference room was nice, there was alot going on and most people were minding their own business.

      Entretien

I was contacted immediately after posting my resume to the ad listed on Indeed for the position and asked for a pre-screening interview. The recruiter was wonderful and very informative, upbeat, and overall excited to talk to me. I had the phone interview a week later, and two weeks from there, I had the face-to-face interview as well as a timed test in regards to to position. I was told the HR manager at the location was on maternity leave and I was not given a set time-frame on when I would hear back. I emailed the recruiter asking, but did not hear back. I finally heard back via email a month later, saying that RS is still interested in me, and wanted a life update, etc. on my end, and that they would be in touch. It has been two months since last communication has taken place and I have not heard from the company again or received any sort of rejection notice. It really gets a person's hopes up when they're told that the company is interested and the interviews go amazing, and then not hear anything for months; I am being light-hearted as well as considerate, because this company seems wonderful if you are offered a position. Management and the employees did not give a fake impression upon meeting me, and all in all, this has been one of the most positive interview processes I have ever experienced. Even in the areas I lacked expertise for the position, I was not given grief for. Maybe in my case, there is not an open position, the location may be waiting for the HR manager to return from maternity leave, or RS is simply waiting for the new fiscal year to begin hiring people again. Unfortunately for RS, I have since then given up, interviewed for other companies, and accepted another offer due to the lack of communication.

      Entretien

There was an initial phone call with a recruiter. Then, I was set up for a technical screening with a QA Analyst on staff. This screening was to determine my basic knowledge/skill level and was done over the phone. Eventually, I was brought in for an in-person interview. During this process, I met with the HR person to find out more about the company and office. Then, I met with several employees from the department, who each asked me more questions aimed to further determine my skill level along with my behavioral/reasoning processes. Then, I was given a QA skills test on a laptop. I had a set amount of time to complete the test. After this whole interview/screening process, I was told that they liked me but that they didn't have a position available for me yet. At the time, that confused me because I didn't understand why they'd gone through all that effort to screen me when they didn't have a position, but they explained that they were always looking for great talent because they never knew when they might get new clients and would need to call on those people. I was asked to check in every week or so to see if anything had changed (if I hadn't heard from them). The whole process from submitting my application to official offer took about 5 or 6 months. Throughout the process, though, everyone I dealt with was super nice, friendly, and encouraging. The people were nice, but the process was long.
