After applying on their company website, went through two basic phone interviews. The goal was basically to get to know me and my experience level. Conversations were around a half hour each, conducted by department heads and team leaders. After getting two positive reviews they flew me down to the cape for an in person interview. This consisted of a panel style interview with 5-6 people of various company levels asking more in depth questions about my experience, as well as some "what would I do" style questions. Next was a lovely tour of the facility with a team leader. After the in person interview I had one more phone interview which felt like a formality... And then an offer came a week later. The compensation was on the low end for my experience level, and they didn't seem to have too much room for negotiation. I was able to get a number I could live with, but after looking into their benefits package it seemed lighter than it should be given the level of accountability.
My only real concern during the process is that it appears the level of compensation and benefits is declining as the company grows and finds higher levels of success.

Scheduled a call with one of the recruiters. Call was typical: asked why SpaceX, if I have ever used hand tools (e.g. torque wrenches, DMM, calipers, micrometers), and a bit about my resume.
Got invited to onsite interview where I toured and saw where I will be stationed and learned about the in house facilities and different sections.
last 30 minutes I went into a room with a panel of other technicians and supervisors where they had me use a couple tools and asked me some technical questions and "get to know you" questions.
If you are someone that is fine with a 70/30 work/life balance then this should be a good job for you.
