Extensive interview questions regarding values, HR scenarios, communication techniques. Role playing. Expect a panel interview. You will be scored by each individual for each question. The hiring process weeds out applicants up front by scoring a matrix of must haves. Be clear on you resume because the HR folks generally have little if any experience in you subject matter area. They will simply look for key words on the resume.

I interviewed several times at SCE. By HR guidelines, they have to interview at least 3-4 candidates. Internal and External. The majority of the time, they already selected who to plan to hire internally. If you're an outside candidate, you're wasting your time interviewing with them.
The "Rooney Rule," which requires teams to interview diverse candidates for roles totally applies to SCE.

A TV was on in the conference room. One of the Directors conducting the interview was continually watching the TV during the interview. Very unprofessional, distracting and rude. I would not want to work for a company with executives with such poor manners.
