I found the job offer on the UCI alumni career site, and applied. I was contacted by the company recruiter and interviewed by phone. I then innterviewed with the hiring manager. The interview was casual and friendly. We talked about the job, my experience, and how the two would mesh. Since this job was in a critical and secure environment, a full background check was performed, as well as drug testing. After hire, a psychological test was required. Periodic random drug testing continues after employment, but only for those with access to secure areas.
